I have chosen to make a portrait of a fennec fox, this is different from most people’s work which is good. I don’t like main colour as I think it is too bright. I will improve the colour choices and shading on the fox so it looks more textured.

I changed the main colour. I have defined the shape of the face and added the eyes and nose. I need to work on the shape of the tail and define the ears more but other than that it is starting to look decent

I added shape and tones to the tail and body, almost done I just need to add a background.
I like the colour of the darker tone and the shapes I made to define the tail

During this project I learned how to use the pen tool properly in illustrator.
I found it hard to find the right colours for the different tones, the main colour is different on the first WIP because I found it too bright.
I think the most successful part of this piece is the colours and definition in the tail and face.
